Fans of Antonio Banderas will be pleasantly surprised to discover that there is more beyond this handsome actor’s career in movies. The man can sing - and sing well at that.

Born Jose Antonio Dominguez Banderas on August 10, 1960, he already displayed his singing prowess in the movie Evita with Madonna, and it was only then that his singing prowess was publicized in the US. In 2003 he returned to the music scene by appearing in several Broadway productions.

Julio Jose Iglesias de la Cueva was born on September 23, 1943 and is a prominent figure in Spanish music. Julio Iglesias claims that if it wasn’t for a car accident on September 22, 1963, he may not have had a music career at all. To quote:
“I had a car accident, very, very strange car accident,” remembers Iglesias. “I lost control of the car and rolled it, resulting in what they call paraparexia, which is not a paraplegic. It’s a compression in the cord, in the sense of the neck … my spinal cord, and I was very, very ill for three years.”

His doctors thought he wouldn’t walk again, but he did. He learned the guitar, won a singing contest, and as they say, the rest is history.
