El Meswy – Como Mola

El Meswy is a hip hop artist originally from Alarcon, Spain. He presently resides in Brooklyn, NY. Introduced to Spanish hip hop in 1985, he became interested in the graffiti movement that was unfolding in his neighborhoods, and taught himself how make his individual mark through graffiti. Later influenced by American hip hop artists, El Meswy taught himself to rap, and is today one of the most listened to artists throughout Spain.

The Pinker Tones was formed by Barcelona natives Mister Furia and Professor Manso. The group’s music is an eclectic mix of pop, funk, soul, bossa, break beat, swing, lounge, and psychedelia. Arianna Puello – La Ley

Arianna Puello Pereyra or Ari is a Spanish rapper of Dominican descent. She started in the world of hip hop in 1993 when she recorded a song with a friend, and she joined later a band with Bano , N.O.Del KRIB (Nacidos Originalmente del Karibe). After their split up, she joined another band, Discípulos del Micro, but she knew her first succes with a collaboration in El Meswy’s first album, Mujer chunga. In 1998, she released her first solo album, El tentempié .

María Rodríguez, also known as La Mala, La Mala María, or Mala Rodríguez , is a Spanish hip hop singer. She was born in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, 13 February 1979. Her hip-hop songs are greatly influenced by flamenco music. Some of her lyrics talk about the problems of the outcasts of society and women.
