Sergio Dalma – No Me Digas Que No

A Catalan pop singer, Joseph Sergi Capdevilla Querol aka Sergio Dalma was born on September 28, 1964 in Sabadell, near Barcelona, Spain.

Sergio Dalma started his career singing in bands and doing chorus, until he won the TV program “Gent d’aqui” and since it wasn’t successful, the company gave him another chance with “Sinti√ɬ©ndonos la piel“, in 1991. In the same year, Sergio Dalma was chosen to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Bailar Pegados“, where he finished 4th place. This was his call to fame.

Luz Casal – Se Feliz

Born on November 11, 1958, Luz Casal is a pop singer who grew up in the neighboring Austrias. She took up singing, piano and ballet classes and moved to Madrid to pursue a musical career.

Her fame began during the early 1980s, and still remains as an important figure in Spanish pop music. Her name, Luz, means light in Spanish.

Mecano – Hijo de la Luna

Mecano was a Spanish pop band that debut during the 1980s and found success in the same year and in the 90s both in Latin America, France, and Italy. Hijo de Luna is a music video that features the story of a gypsy woman who asks the moon for a child, not knowing the consequences it may have against her jealous husband.

Ella Baila Sola – Lo Echamos a Suertes

The duet has their own special harmony and has touched fans all throughout Spain with their touching lyrics and great harmony. However, the girls parted ways in 2001.
